GENERAL ORIENTATION FOR FRESHMEN AND TRANSFEREES (ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024)
The Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Office of Student Affairs and Services and VMUF
Council of Student Leaders sponsored the College General Orientation held at the VMUF Event
Center last August 7, 2023, to welcome the freshmen and transferee students for the school year
2023 - 2024.
“Embrace every opportunity to learn and explore,” advised Dr. Ma. Lillia Posadas-Juan University
President to the students during her speech in the general orientation. She also shared the
university’s values and encouraged the students to strive.
Meanwhile Julius A. Ambrosio from the College of Engineering was inducted as the new CSL
President. Other officers include Sophia Bianca De Leon (College of Information and Computer
Science) (Vice-president), Ma. Christina Rose Caranto (College of Business Administration)
(Secretary), Cyra Mae Agustin (College of Dentistry) (Sub-Secretary), Kent Roger Banhaw (College
of Midwifery) (Treasurer), Angel Zamora (College of Medical Technology) (Auditor), Renzo Posadas
(College of Pharmacy) (P.I.O.), Keischia Dannielle Perez (College of Physical Therapy) and
Jonnabeth Guillermo (College of Education) (Business Managers), Dyna Doria (College of Arts and
Sciences) and Gemerian Flores (Department of Senior High School) (Research Coordinators), Irish
Kaye Marquez (College of Nursing) and GV Gem Adriano (College of Hospitality Management)
(Extension Coordinators), Christian Joseph Vinluan (College of Technical Vocational) (Sports
Coordinator), Yasmien Galicia (College of Rad Technology) and Joshua Pagsolingan (College of
Veterinary Medicine) (Socio-Cultural Coordinators), Vernadine Angelika Narag (College of
Medicine) (Religious Coordinator). Members of the CSL represent their departments, from the
Senior High Department to the Post-Graduate College.
Vice President for Administration, Dr. Angelo B. Juan shared a few of VMUF’s history during his
closing remarks. He also welcomed the college freshman and transferees to the university.
“Together, let us build a brighter future for our community and a brighter future for the
world,” Dr. Juan stated toward the end of his speech.
Faculty members from different programs also assisted the students in the general orientation.
Deans and staff from different departments were also present during the event.
Kim Carlos, from the College of Arts of Sciences, hosted the event and facilitated the Bring Me
game played in between lectures given by various department representatives.
