Medical Laboratory Science records double Mr. and Ms. VMUF 2026 win

The Mr. and Ms. Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) 2026 pageant took place on February 13, 2026, at the VMUF Event Center, featuring 27 candidates representing programs of the university.

Mr. Zaldy B. Bandong Jr. and Ms. Gabryla Sofia S. Gabriel, both from Medical Laboratory Science, claimed the titles of Mr. and Ms. VMUF 2026. Bandong explained that strength is about discovering oneself with purpose and sharing what one has to make a difference in others’ lives. Gabriel said beauty is extending hands to those in need and making a positive impact on people around them.

The program opened with the candidates’ production number on stage, followed by the judges’ lineup. They then competed in the Best in School Uniform, Best in Swimwear, and Best in Formal Wear and Evening Gown segments, while Jefferson Austria delivered an intermission performance before the awarding portion.

All candidates received Certificates of Appreciation, and special awards were announced, recognizing photogenic qualities, congeniality, outstanding personality, and style across various categories.

After the special awards, the Top 5 finalists were announced. Candidates participated in the Q&A segment, sharing their thoughts on purpose and personal values. The program continued with the final walk of last year’s Mr. and Ms. VMUF and runners-up. A Same Day Edit (SDE) video was presented, and the program concluded with the announcement of winners, crowning Bandong and Gabriel.
