Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Inc. (VMUF) has once again secured a spot in the
prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, demonstrating its support for
the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the overall ranking, VMUF placed in the 1501+ bracket, maintaining its position from the
previous year. However, it made notable progress in specific areas—most significantly in SDG 1: No
Poverty, where it improved from the 1001+ bracket in 2024 to the 801–1000th position in 2025.
VMUF’s rankings for 2025 also include:
Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3): 601-800th
Quality Education (SDG 4): 1501+
Partnership for the Goals (SDG 17): 1501+
The THE Impact Rankings is a global performance assessment that measures how universities are
supporting the SDGs, highlighting institutions that drive positive social and global change.
The achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of the VMUF Internationalization Team
lead by Dr. Angeline Mae P. Juan-Reyna, Deans, Department Heads, faculty members, staff,
and stakeholders, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to service, health, education,
and sustainability.
